My name is Justyna Kubica and I live in Krakow (Poland).I graduated with a bachelor's degree in art in Bielsko-Biała, specializing in Textile. At the University of Silesia, I studied Fine Arts, specializing in painting, drawing and graphics.

The works presented here are just some of the pages of my diary, a part of the biography, which I write through painting. They are a record of days devoted to finding my place in the world, a record of my thoughts and observations. Places, objects, people, nature, play of light, colors. I like to be surprised by everyday life. I like to give reality my own form, searching between rhythm and chaos.

My artistic path was decided when I was still a child: I knew who I wanted to be. I loved to create, I loved color and I loved observing those moments when I was left alone with the process of creation and facing the frustration I felt  for not being able to make things look the way I wanted. I love looking for new means to make my ideas come true. For me, creating is like breathing, it just happens. I like listening to other people's interpretations of my works, I like noticing how my artworks influence the imagination of the viewer, how they transport the viewer to a surprising world. 

I follow several paths, but each of them has cannot be understood without taking the rest in to account.
